Our date night strategy always includes drinks, something to eat, and an activity. A dancing at-home date night is the most budget friendly at-home date I have ever done. I spent $20 on ingredients for drinks and snacks. You can easily make this a free date using drinks and snacks you already have on hand.
Eric and I decided to learn to two step. It was so much fun. Both of us were surprised that Eric ended up being a better dancer than me. We both ranked this date in our top 3 dates because it was one where laughed a ton, worked together, and got real close.
What You Need
Prep Time : 15 minutes
Date Time: 1-2 hours (it’s up to you)
- 2 glasses of Paradise Margaritas
(A tropical mix of mango, pineapple, guava & orange) - Your favorite candies for dessert
- A clear space in your living room or kitchen
- Any YouTube tutorial for Two Step dancing – I linked the one we used at the bottom
Instructions
- Start with the Drinks & Snacks – Shake up your Paradise Margaritas and plate the desserts. Even if it is just gummy bears in a bowl, it looks fancy and date like out of the bag.
- Clear Space in Your Living Room – It takes up more space than I thought so you will want to move your coffee table out of the way
- Learn to Two Step Together – Pull up a quick video tutorial and follow along. We would pause it and practice a move and then start it back up again. Once we felt like we had all the moves down we put it into a little sequence for a final dance.
This is the tutorial we followed.
