Time to create your April monthly meal plan. If you are new here, I do not meal plan monthly because I am hyper organized. In fact it is because I hate this chore so I only want to do it once instead of 4 times each month.
I am still loving lighter food and grilling season. I am trying to lose weight right now, so I am sorta focused on things like macros while also learning a ton about them because I am a newbie.
Baseball season started and we have a few week night games which makes dinners interesting. But we got this.
As a reminder, the meal planner I use is Plan to Eat (affiliate link). I love it because you can upload any recipe you want from the internet and then you just drag and drop the recipe onto the day you want to eat it . Plus it makes a shopping list for you too.
We can also be friends on the app which allows you us to have access to each others recipes. I share recipes with my mom on here all the time.
April Meal Plan
We decided we are going to try snack boards / leftovers on Wednesdays so we can start a game night and we have been doing pizza on Fridays for years now.
Tried and True Recipes we Love
Copy Cat Grilled Chick-Fil-A Chicken Sandwiches
Chicken Parmesan Sliders (way easier than it sounds, I use chicken nuggets)
New Recipes Were Trying This Month
Italian Brussels Sprout Chopped Salad (I plan on having this for lunches with chicken)
General Tso’s Slow Cooker Chicken
Gilmore Girl’s Coffee Cake Cookie
Chinese Chicken Salad (Lunch for me)
If you are new to meal planning and needing more systems in place as a stay at home mom, I recommend the Ultimate Stay At Home Mom Course*. She goes over all the benefits of meal planning for your family and how to develop a system.
Then you can grab the Plan to Eat app* and start importing your family’s favorite recipes.
