Peach Bruschetta Cocktail Hour

Eric and I just started doing Couples Cocktail Hour a few weeks ago as a way to sneak in little mini dates. We are basically having drinks and appetizers together while sitting outside and just chatting together.

Jalapeño Blueberry Margarita

This bold and vibrant margarita strikes the perfect balance between sweet and heat. Juicy blueberry syrup adds rich, fruity depth, while jalapeño lime juice brings a just spicy enough. Rounded out with smooth tequila and bright orange notes from Cointreau, it’s a refreshingly unexpected twist on a classic margarita—perfect for summer nights, & cocktail hour.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz tequila
  • 1.5 oz Cointreau or other orange liqueur
  • 1 oz blueberry syrup homemade or store bought
  • 1 oz jalapeño lime juice

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add tequila, Cointreau, blueberry syrup, and jalapeño lime juice.
  • Shake well until chilled, about 15 seconds.
  • Strain into a glass over fresh ice.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge, fresh blueberries, or a slice of jalapeño (optional).

Notes

I get the jalapeño lime juice from Trader Joes, but you could also use fresh lime juice and muddle a jalapeño slice.
