Toddler and Preschooler Gift Guide

Toddlers & Preschoolers

There are so many new toys on the market since my kids were toddlers. I don’t want to share a bunch of toys without knowing if they are quality or not, so I am going to just share a few items that my kids LOVED and we kept for years.

Pro Tip for grandparents – ask what the kids are loving and ADD on to their sets vs buying something different. Or better yet buy one fun thing to open and put the rest in a savings account for when they are 18 and be their HERO as an adult.

Toy Train or Hot Wheels

We had a train table and premade hot wheels tracks. They were never played with. But tracks you build on the floor on your own, those were played with for HOURS! And cars that fit in the palm of your hand are way better than big ones.

In the toddler and preschool age, babies and doll houses got a lot of play time in our house. I have noticed that around 5 is when she was ready for Barbies and American Girl Dolls.
