Combine the water, sugar, and yeast. Give a gentle stir and allow it to rest for about 10 minutes so the yeast can activate.
Once the yeast is foamy on top, mix the salt, melted butter, yeast mixture, and 3 cups flour.
When the flour is well combined add the remaining 3 cups until it comes together as a dough.
Drizzle a small amount of oil in a on a paper towel and grease a large bowl
Place the dough in the greased bowl, cover with a towel and place in a cool place for it to double in size (about 1 hour)
Once the dough has doubled, punch it down & lightly knead
Cut the down in half
Flatten the dough into a rectangle, roll it into a loaf tucking the ends.
Place in a greased loaf pan and repeat for the second half of the dough
Cover with a towel and let it rise again (30 minutes)
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes
