I have been sharing my weekly dinner menus on Instagram stories and more and more of you are asking for dinner meal plan ideas. Here is our plan for May.
I plan something for every night so we have something planned, but it isn’t uncommon for us to decide to go out instead or move things around based on my mood or if I remembered to take the meat out.
This is a general guideline for me cause I’m better with a plan vs. flying solo.
Grilling season is my favorite because I can prep all the meats with marinades on one day and just have Eric pull them out of the fridge one day at a time. Basically my job ends up ten times easier and the mess is on the BBQ so it is minimal.
The meal planner I use is Plan to Eat (affiliate link). I love it because you can upload any recipe you want from the internet and then you just drag and drop the recipe onto the day you want to eat it. Plus it makes a shopping list for you too.
We can also be friends on the app which allows you us to have access to each others recipes. I share recipes with my mom on here all the time.
May Meal Plan
We love snack boards / leftovers on Wednesdays with game night and we waste a lot less because we aren’t forgetting about food in there. We have been doing pizza on Fridays for years now, so that is 2 nights a week pre planned forever.
Tried and True Recipes we Love
Chicken Parmesan Sliders (way easier than it sounds, I use chicken nuggets)
Flank Steak & Tortellini
Banana Bread from a Box
New Recipes Were Trying This Month
Baked Chicken With Bacon Bottom Joanna Gaines Recipe from her Cookbook
Viral Spaghetti – It is a combo of Alfredo and a meat sauce and looks soo good
Trader Joes Viral Spaghetti – 3 ingredients and so simple
If you are new to meal planning and needing more systems in place as a stay at home mom, I recommend the Ultimate Stay At Home Mom Course*. She goes over all the benefits of meal planning for your family and how to develop a system.
Then you can grab the Plan to Eat app* and start importing your family’s favorite recipes.
