May Dinner Meal Plan

May dinner meal plan

I have been sharing my weekly dinner menus on Instagram stories and more and more of you are asking for dinner meal plan ideas. Here is our plan for May.

I plan something for every night so we have something planned, but it isn’t uncommon for us to decide to go out instead or move things around based on my mood or if I remembered to take the meat out.

This is a general guideline for me cause I’m better with a plan vs. flying solo.

Grilling season is my favorite because I can prep all the meats with marinades on one day and just have Eric pull them out of the fridge one day at a time. Basically my job ends up ten times easier and the mess is on the BBQ so it is minimal.

The meal planner I use is Plan to Eat (affiliate link). I love it because you can upload any recipe you want from the internet and then you just drag and drop the recipe onto the day you want to eat it. Plus it makes a shopping list for you too.

We can also be friends on the app which allows you us to have access to each others recipes. I share recipes with my mom on here all the time.

May Meal Plan

We love snack boards / leftovers on Wednesdays with game night and we waste a lot less because we aren’t forgetting about food in there. We have been doing pizza on Fridays for years now, so that is 2 nights a week pre planned forever.

Flank Steak & Tortellini

@byemilylawson

Replying to @teetee_mama my kids’ favorite dinner of all time is flank steak & tortellini. Marinate the flank steak in -1/2 cup honey -1/2 soy sauce – 1 tbsp garlic – 1 tsp ginger Grill the flank steak Boil the tortellini (we love @costco or bertolli) Toss the tortellini in olive oil & serve with roasted broccoli or green beans. My kids devour this and there are never leftovers #familydinnerideas #favoritedinner #easyfamilydinnerideas #flanksteaks #tortellinitok #familyfavoritemeal

Banana Bread from a Box

@byemilylawson

Better than Joanna Gaines Banana Bread from a Box The secret to make vour box mix taste like it’s from scratch is to add 2-3 over ripe bananas and sprinkle with sugar for a crunchy crust. – Do you add chocolate chips or nuts to your banana bread? Eric and Reagan would kill me if I ever dared try that. #bakedbox #bananabreadrecipe #bestbananabread #simplefamilyrecipe #easyfamilyrecipies #easybakingideas #dessertideasforyourfamily #boxmixhack #joannagainescooking @pillsbury
