Women’s Gift Guide

In the last 6 months my outlook on consumerism has changed. I want less, but I want quality. It helps that I have figured out my personal style, or at least I have become confident in it and I don’t feel the need to do trends anymore. Instead, I want heirloom items that I will have for so long that the cost of use is basically free. I have been taking a good look at the items in my home and more importantly the items that I am donating, and I am realizing that I don’t want to waste money anymore on things that I won’t still love in 10 years.

All of this is a long way to say, this list is made up of items that I own and love as well as items that are on my heirloom wishlist. I recognize that heirlooms will be higher ticket items and that means (at least for me) that they will be on my wishlist for a long time while Eric and I save. I will include some budget versions of each item too.

My intent is for this to be the only gift guide I ever need to write because I will stand by these gift choices for the next 50 years.

Tello & Rose Nylon Bag – My favorite nylon bag doesn’t do affiliate links but I still want to share it regardless.

Kitchen Items

Stainless Steel and Cast Iron are made to last. These kitchen items are an investment that will last the rest of our life and ultimately make the cost per use close to $0.

Comfies

Comfies are not something I think are worth investing in. I am just as cozy in a $30 sweatshirt as I am in a $98 one.

Beauty Items

Beauty is an area where I believe in investing, but it isn’t something I know enough about. So for now, I am sharing the items that I use and love. And as I learn more I will update.
