Pizza Dough

Servings 4 pizzas

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz sugar
  • 2 TBS olive oil
  • 12 oz warm water
  • 1 lb 6.5 oz bread flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (NOT rapid rise)
  • 1/4 oz salt

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer.
  • Using the paddle attachment, mix until ingredients are fully incorporated.
  • Switch to the dough hook and knead on low speed for up to 10 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  • Divide the dough into four equal portions.
  • Lightly grease a bowl, place the dough inside, and cover. Allow it to rise until doubled in size.
  • If freezing, do so immediately after shaping.
  • Bake at 425°F for 10–12 minutes.
