One of the things that I love most about it is the fact that it is intentionally made as single servings so you can eat the entire thing and feel indulgent without feeling glutinous.
I am going to be making more and more single serving desserts because I frankly love dessert but if I make a batch of anything I will eat the entire batch. But if there is only a small portion available and I eat the whole thing, I will feel just as satisfied. And I will still be honoring my health and fitness goals.
Apple Cinnamon Bread Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 Apple
- 3 Cinnamon Rolls
- Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
Directions
- Chop an apple into bite size chunks
- In bowl, sprinkle the apple with cinnamon & sugar
- Cut the cinnamon roll into fourths
- Add the cinnamon rolls to the apples and mix well
- Pour the apple mixture into an oven safe dish
- Bake at 350 for 13 minutes
- Drizzle with icing from the cinnamon rolls
Cozy At-Home Date
Eric and I had these as our snack during a cozy at-home date night. We worked on a virtual escape room while eating our apple cinnamon roll bread pudding and then got cozy on the couch.
