At Home Dates

For us at-home dates have 3 components to feel like a date.

  1. Activity
  2. Snacks
  3. Drinks

The Activity

We did Merlin’s Castle at Virtual Escaping. It was the easiest of the options but I still thought it was hard. The have a lot of themes. I used a coupon code for 10% off which made the escape room $27. They send you a code to login in the room. You can share this code with 6 other people and complete the escape room virtually with friends which is pretty cool.

This is the date night for the problem solver who likes a puzzles where they have to read clues and pay attention to the fine details. Spoiler alert: I am not that person. But Eric is, so I tried to be for him.

If you loved the murder mystery date night I shared in my top 3 at-home dates freebie, you will LOVE this one. If you have’t signed up to get my email with my top 3 at-home dates scroll to the bottom of this post to have it emailed to you.

The Snacks

Apple cinnamon roll bread pudding.

Four ingredients and oh my heavens. This will be made on repeat.

The Drinks

Honestly, Eric ruined my plans here. I was going to make a whiskey cocktail for a warm cozy fall vibe. But he finished the whiskey and I didn’t know that. So I had a Sam Adams and he had a tequila sunrise (tequila with oj and grenadine). Not as fancy as our usual vibe which is what I get for not checking the cabinet.
