Amish Bread

This is my go to bread recipe. I have made it for everyone I know and I am always asked for the recipe. It is simple and can be used as white bread for sandwiches, with spaghetti, or my favorite way to eat it, with salted butter.

Amish Bread

This soft, buttery sandwich bread is a cozy kitchen classic — simple ingredients, no special tools, just perfect golden loaves every time. With a hint of sweetness and a tender crumb, it’s ideal for morning toast, packed lunches, or fresh-out-of-the-oven slices slathered in butter.

  7. Cut the down in half
  8. Flatten the dough into a rectangle, roll it into a loaf tucking the ends.
  9. Place in a greased loaf pan and repeat for the second half of the dough
